De Voerstreek

The "Voerstreek" is well renowned for its stunning landscape which can be nicely explored using the signposted walking network of roughly 125km of trails. Thanks to the 90 numbered route nodes you can easily create your own routes across peaceful unpaved trails with little to no traffic. As such, you can design your walking trails to your own liking, or make use of one of many themed routes which will guide you along some beautiful forests, rivers, hollow roads, authentic farms, castles, unique half-timbered houses and magnificent panoramas.

In Voeren you can also cycle along many cycling trails which make use of a similar node network that allows you to create your own routes through areas you'd like to explore, or follow one of beautiful routes. This node system also seemlesly integrates with the Dutch node network in case you plan to cross the border for some sight seeing in the southern parts of The Netherlands. Also, there are many charging stations for E-bikes, and plenty of possibilities to rent an E-bike or scooter.

More information regarding the history, landscape, entertainment venues and activities in Voeren can be found on the website of Toerisme Voerstreek.
